RA Washington (Mourning [A] BLKstar) is investigating sound in a whole other direction with his new solo show. The writer/producer combines his love of electronics, history, and poetry to create an evening that looks at what we hide from ourselves and the power of an understanding of US as a continuous motion toward the future. His latest work includes, BODY (Outlandish Press, 2017), FOUR INTERIORS (Outlandish Press, 2018). Washington's new memoir, Baldwin Notes (Outlandish Press, 2019) is about his lifelong fascination with James Baldwin and the role of testament has played throughout his creative life.
